A YEAR IN NMITD (Navinchandra Mehta Institute of Technology and Development)
In a day or two, we MMS 17-19 batch will complete our one year in NMITD. Exactly a year ago on 1st August we entered into this institute which eventually became our second home.
The whole year was a great journey. NMITD has helped me to transform myself into a smart professional from just a clever student. Every one in our institute was part of this transformation and hence has some contributed majoritily in my success.
Starting from our interaction with our seniors at Induction. Thanks to Prafulla, Bhushan, Sayli, Aboli, Makarand, Aishwarya and many other seniors. Their warm welcome in first week itself made us feel comfortable. And I truly believe that was the crucial point which laid down a solid foundation.
Afterwords, our bonding with seniors grew so much that we always felt they are our friends rather than they are our seniors. We also had rapport building with faculties from day one. Faculties were and are very understanding. They helped us to groom ourselves, not only from outside but also from within. We have learned many things from them. Dr. Anita Bobade mam's wisdom. Dr. Samadhan Khamkar sir's friendly nature. Dr. Kasturi Naik mam's time management. Renuka mam's query handling style. Rahul sir's energy. MCA faculties have also taught many things. Their co operation has helped us to get along with our MCA seniors as well as with juniors.
And even the non teaching staff was there for us. Their constant reminders of pending work kept us updated always.
As we went ahead, I and Virendra, Sagar, Smit got an opportunity to become integral part of Student Council of NMITD. Such an honor.
I never had experience this kind of feeling in the past. Although it was additional to my academic studies I accepted it. And I am so thankful to other council member's for their co operation. Without them I could not have able to handle this position of Secretary of SC in better way.

Their help came in handy to work along with other students of NMITD to make Roobaroo 2k18. Conference, Annual Day and Convocation and Share Bazaar 2018 successful.
In all those events every student from MMS and MCA helped Student council in one way or the other. Thanks to all of them. But among them, two names were always there with me through out the process. Virendra Bagwe. Prafulla Talele. Virendra as a batch mate and Prafulla as a senior. I have learned so many things from. Leadership qualities, communication skills, how to handle situations and many more. I am thankful for their help. And I am also thankful to Akshita, Pradnya who helped us a lot. And of course for special thanks to Hardik, Seema and Akash Bavkar and our super seniors for making Share Bazaar a huge success.
As these events come to an end, we also conducted CSR activity. We went to a school from remote area. We donated study material as well as water filters. The way these primary level students and their teachers were handling the problems was an eye opener. They were not complaining about problems but were trying to solve them. We all realized how lucky we are to have so many facilities in Mumbai, in NMITD. And we learned a life lesson - "If you have willpower, you can overcome any obstacle. So stop complaining"

And while remembering everyone how can I forget my own class.
Never. All of them are dear ones and honestly each of them has taught me something valuable. And we all have grown together as management students as well as individuals. I feel lucky to have these guys in my life as close friends.

Through out the last year I personally have learned countless lessons. Lessons which has made me rich and has made me more wiser than I ever was. Therefore to conclude my post I would say it was in my destiny to be part of NMITD family and from bottom of my heart I am grateful for it..
Regards.
